How does it work?

Safe Lagoon is designed to monitor and filter all the data traffic to and from your child’s smartphone. We use the most innovative technologies for the intelligent treatment of online web content which helps keep your child safe.

Why use it?

The World Wide Web was initially meant to be a treasury filled with essential information and wide range of useful knowledge, but there is a dark side to this unregulated open data space. Unfortunately the Internet is full of worthless and often obscene images/videos/text you wouldn’t want your child to see. This is where our Safe Lagoon Service comes in to help you provide a healthy internet experience.

How can I track my child?

Parents can benefit from Safe Lagoon's location service using Safe Lagoon's Parental App or by logging in to their Safe Lagoon WebCenter where you can configure all the functionality we offer, including monitoring your child’s online activity and locating their device on map. The free version of Safe Lagoon allows you to get notifications about Web pages visited by your child. Other functionality is available as a part of a full subscription.

Can I allow or block specific Web pages on my own?

Yes, you can. By using the Parental App or WebCenter. Just go to the Internet section and press the gear icon. There you can specify which Web site you’d like to allow or block.

Can I protect my child not only against adult content but religious propaganda as well?

You definitely can. Safe Lagoon blocks content on 28 different subjects, including but not limited to: gambling, crime, violence, religion, weapons, suicide and more.

Can I manage applications my child uses on their smartphone/tablet?

Yes, you can even allow/ban any application straight from the Parental App or your personal Safe Lagoon WebCenter. You can also set a healthy schedule of specific days and times for your child to play games and use the internet on their device. This option is available as a part of the paid subscription. Currently this option is available for Android based devices only.

Which social networks are monitored by Safe Lagoon?

At the moment Safe Lagoon supports integration with YouTube, Instagram, and VK. In the future we are going to add support for more social networks as well. To facilitate the option we allow you to filter activity reports by personal messaging, groups your child is engaged with, media content and by posts made from the device. This functionality is available as a part of the paid subscription.

My wife and I both work so at times checking our personal e-mail is just not possible. Can you send activity reports and notification to more than one e-mail address?

We can easily do that for you! There is no limit on desired e-mail addresses and mobile telephone numbers we can notify. Use your Safe Lagoon WebCenter to add e-mail addresses or phone numbers where e-mail notifications and SMS are to be sent. Another good way to receive notifications is by using our Parental App. This functionality is available as a part of the paid subscription.

Can I track inbound/outbound calls on my child’s smartphone?

Yes you can. In your Parental App or Safe Lagoon WebCenter You will see the list of inbound/outbound phone calls and SMS data in the 'Calls & SMS' tab of your personal account. The text of all messages is also available to read. For your convenience the service is not only showing the telephone number but the contact name as well (deriving this data from the list of contacts on your child’s device). This functionality is available as a part of the paid subscription.
